The primary goal of the Physical Education (PE) Program at Bethany Christian School is to assist each student in the development of the attitudes, skills, and movements that will result in a lifetime of participation in physical activity.
Our P.E. classes are offered twice weekly for elementary grades and two or three times per week on alternating weeks for middle school grades.
Our classes provide an environment for the development of motor skills, physical manipulation, group cooperation, leadership, fellowship, and natural enjoyment of moving.
We are concerned with the total development of our students including their physical, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development. We strive to provide the opportunity for each student to fully engage in a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate for each age. We desire for each one to have fun and to develop positive feelings and a positive attitude toward fitness.
