Outreach and Service

Just as the first believers in Acts reached out to each other, Bethany Christian School reaches out to others beyond our campus. Working together and comprehending needs of others encourages our students to grow as individuals, to be proactive citizens of the school and the world beyond, and to be that citizen of grace, called by God.

Each school year, we intentionally identify ways to reach beyond our school campus. Our outreach has historically encompassed participating with Operation Christmas Child, Day of Hope sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), Food for the Hungry, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Mary’s Food Bank, and Project Cure.

Our middle school students are required to complete 3 service hours each quarter for a total of 12 service hours over the course of the school year.
